Hanoi announces traffic changes for Tran Hung Dao Bridge construction

Hanoi police and the Department of Construction have announced significant traffic adjustments to accommodate the construction of the Tran Hung Dao Bridge. These changes are scheduled to remain in effect until December 30, 2026.

Key modifications include the implementation of one-way traffic on Tran Khanh Du Street, moving from the Tran Khanh Du - Tran Hung Dao intersection toward the Van Don checkpoint. Specific rerouting plans have been established for vehicles traveling via Nguyen Khoai Embankment, Le Quy Don Street, and Nguyen Huy Tu Street.

To assist commuters, authorities will install additional signage and directional indicators both at the construction sites and at a distance to help drivers proactively choose alternative routes. The Department of Construction has instructed contractors to ensure traffic safety and maintain adequate signage throughout the construction period.
