Hanoi authorities guide businesses on new fire safety regulations

The Hanoi Firefighting and Rescue Team No. 4 has launched an initiative to guide businesses and facility owners on new fire safety regulations following Government Resolution No. 66/2026/NQ-CP. This resolution aims to decentralize power and simplify administrative procedures to reduce time and unnecessary bureaucracy for citizens and enterprises.

Authorities emphasized that while the Ministry of Public Security has abolished certain fire safety inspection and acceptance procedures to facilitate business, this reform does not exempt facilities from their responsibility to ensure fire and explosion safety. The guidance aims to prevent complacency and ensure that owners transition from waiting for inspections to taking proactive responsibility for their own safety standards.
