Hanoi authorities investigate cracking at Hanoi Homeland apartments
Hanoi authorities have ordered an urgent investigation into the Hanoi Homeland apartment complex in Bo De Ward following reports of structural cracking and subsidence. Residents in the CT2A and CT2B buildings have reported cracks appearing on both interior and exterior walls, with some fissures reportedly wide enough to accommodate a finger.
The issues have emerged alongside construction activities at the adjacent Hanoi ParkCentric project, which is being developed by Duong Phuc Thang Trading Joint Stock Company. While the direct link between the construction and the damage is still being investigated, officials have mandated a comprehensive assessment of the structural risks and the responsibilities of involved parties.
Authorities have instructed nearby construction sites to strictly follow technical protocols and implement reinforcement and geotechnical monitoring. If serious safety risks are identified, construction at the Hanoi ParkCentric site will be temporarily suspended until the issues are fully resolved.
