In Hanoi, a first-year student from the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology went missing after attempting to cross a heavily flooded road in Dong Ngac Ward. In Dong Thap province, a father and his 12-year-old son died after being electrocuted while on a fish farm raft. The incident occurred when the father attempted to rescue his son from an electric shock, leading both to fall into the river. Local authorities have provided financial support to the surviving family members.

Additionally, in Thai Nguyen province, the body of an 11th-grade female student was recovered from the Cau River near Ben Tuong Bridge. The student had reportedly jumped from the bridge earlier in the day, leaving behind her electric bicycle and student ID.
