Hanoi clarifies repeal of Red River sub-zone planning decision

The Hanoi People's Committee has issued Decision No. 5405/QD-UBND to repeal a previous decision regarding the 1/5,000 scale master plan adjustment for the Red River sub-zone, specifically the section from Hong Ha Bridge to Me So Bridge.

Hanoi authorities clarified that this repeal does not halt the research or the process of adjusting the urban planning. Instead, the adjustment process will continue in accordance with Resolution No. 64/2026 of the City People's Council. This ensures alignment with the 100-year master plan for the capital and follows directives from the City Party Committee and the People's Committee.

The Hanoi Department of Construction noted that the planning tasks were originally developed based on Politburo Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW and Prime Minister Decision No. 1668/QD-TTg, which focus on the development of Hanoi through 2030, with a vision toward 2045 and 2065.
