Hanoi launches citywide electronic information portal
The Hanoi People's Committee officially opened an electronic information portal that integrates 140 component websites of municipal agencies. The platform, promoted by Chief of Office Nguyen Tiến Thiết, aims to provide rapid, transparent access to official documents, with all city directives published online within 24 hours of issuance. In its first month, the portal recorded over 6.2 million visits, contributing to more than 20 million monthly accesses across the system. The rollout is part of Hanoi’s broader digital‑government strategy, targeting improved public services, better data sharing, and faster response to citizen inquiries.
Future phases will extend the portal to all city units, incorporate AI and big‑data tools, and further streamline the exchange of information between the administration and residents.
