Hanoi Drama Theatre launches AI-integrated cultural program

The Hanoi Drama Theatre is launching ‘Thoi Khac’, a new cultural industry product that integrates traditional stage arts with artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Held from October 8 to 10, 2026, at the renovated Cong Nhan Theater in Hoan Kiem, the program aims to connect history and culture with modern technology to develop a signature cultural brand for the capital.

Under the artistic direction of People's Artist Trung Hieu, the event features an exhibition area, interactive activities, and a special screening room. A highlight of the program is the play ‘Huyen tich Ho Guom’ (The Legend of Sword Lake), which utilizes AI to recreate historical stories related to the capital, including the Lam Son uprising and the legend of the returned sacred sword.

The event also marks the reopening of the Cong Nhan Theater following recent facility upgrades and renovations.
