Hanoi expands tourism cooperation in Chinese market

Hanoi is expanding its tourism cooperation within the Chinese market. During the 2026 China Cultural Industry and Tourism Fair held in Tianjin, the city established a 100-square-meter pavilion themed “Hanoi – Cooperation and Development.”

The exhibition focuses on promoting the capital's cultural heritage, cuisine, and unique tourism products. Key offerings include tours of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Old Quarter, as well as culinary experiences and traditional craft village visits such as Bat Trang.

To meet the growing demand for specialized cultural and experiential travel among Chinese tourists, Hanoi businesses are developing diverse itineraries. These include connecting the capital with destinations like Ninh Binh and Ha Long, as well as expanding routes to central Vietnam, including Da Nang, Hoi An, and Hue. The initiative aims to position Hanoi as a vital starting point or transit hub for international travelers exploring Vietnam.
