Hanoi family of 100 embarks on three‑day beach vacation in Sam Son, Thanh Hóa
A family of about 100 members spanning four generations from Hanoi organized a three‑day, two‑night summer trip to Sam Son in Thanh Hóa province. The trip was coordinated by Nguyen Thi Dao, who said the eldest participant is 75 years old. Planning began in March, and the group hired three large vans and a travel agency to arrange transport, meals, accommodation and activities.
The family set off at 5 a.m., carrying 5 kg of sticky rice, 50 baguettes, 15 kg of meat rolls and assorted fruit and drinks. In Sam Son they stayed in three villas, each with ten bedrooms, private pools and proximity to the beach. Over the stay they visited Hòn Trống Mái, Độc Cước temple, and took part in beach games. Meals were served on up to twelve platters per sitting, and a gala night featured performances and awards for the younger members.
All participants reported high satisfaction with the trip.
