Hanoi FC U11 team clinches national title, first victory in 20 years

The U11 side of Hanoi FC won the national youth football championship for the first time, defeating the U11 Hanoi team 2‑0 in the final held in Đắk Lắk on 5 August 2026. Nguyen Hai Nam opened the scoring in the second half and Duong Trong Dai added the second goal, securing the club’s inaugural U11 title.

Both Hai Nam and Duong Trong Dai finished as joint top scorers with seven goals each; Hai Nam was also named the tournament’s best player and Hoang Gia Bao received the best goalkeeper award. The triumph reflects the success of Hanoi FC’s multi‑tier development model, which integrates satellite training centres in Nghe An and Bắc Giang under a unified curriculum, and coincides with the club’s 20‑year anniversary.

Officials highlighted the uniform physical, technical and tactical development of the 2015‑born cohort, suggesting the players could become future stars of Vietnamese football.
