Hanoi fire services extinguish garage blaze in Tu Liem

A large fire broke out at an auto repair garage located on Le Quang Dao Street in the Tu Liem ward of Hanoi on August 29. The incident was reported at approximately 14:30, with witnesses observing thick black smoke and intense flames rising from the workshop area.

Due to the presence of flammable materials and equipment inside the garage, the fire spread rapidly, producing smoke columns tens of meters high. The Hanoi Firefighting and Rescue Police, including the Area 16 Firefighting and Rescue Team and neighboring units, deployed multiple specialized vehicles to combat the blaze and prevent it from spreading to adjacent buildings and residential areas.

The fire was largely brought under control by 15:15. Authorities confirmed there were no casualties resulting from the incident. Emergency services remained on-site to cool the area and prevent reignition. Local authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and assess the total damage.
