Hanoi Heart Hospital opens new 300-bed facility

Hanoi Heart Hospital has officially inaugurated its second facility located on Vo Chi Cong Street. The project, completed after two years of construction, represents a total investment of nearly 800 billion VND from the city budget.

The new facility features a 300-bed capacity, 56 specialized examination rooms, five operating rooms—including one integrated Hybrid operating room—as well as five cardiovascular intervention rooms and three vascular intervention rooms. The expansion aims to increase specialized treatment capacity, facilitate medical research, and support advanced technical training.

Hanoi Vice Chairwoman Vu Thu Ha emphasized that the project aligns with city goals to enhance healthcare access through digital transformation and high-quality medical services. The hospital is expected to move toward a smart hospital model, integrating technology into processes ranging from appointment scheduling to diagnostic results. Director Nguyen Sinh Hien stated that the new site provides a foundation for the hospital to maintain its role as a leading national specialist in cardiovascular medicine.
