Hanoi hosts Vietnamese goods festival in Hoan Kiem district

The 11th edition of the ‘Vietnamese Goods Vitality’ program, themed ‘Rằm rộ phố cổ - Hà Nội trong tôi’, opened on August 14 at 62 Trang Tien, Hanoi. Organized by the Department of Domestic Market Management (Ministry of Industry and Trade) in collaboration with the Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee, TikTok Vietnam, NAPAS, and Beat Vietnam Company, the event runs from August 14 to 16.

The program showcases products from businesses, households, and artisans within the Hoan Kiem area, focusing on traditional crafts, cuisine, and culture in preparation for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Featured items include green rice (com), mooncakes, salted plums (o mai), egg coffee, traditional toys like tò he, star lanterns, and paper masks.

Tran Huu Linh, Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management, stated that the initiative aims to create a multichannel connection between products and consumers by combining physical shopping experiences with digital platforms. This approach allows local artisans and businesses to promote their cultural heritage and expand their market reach through livestreaming and digital engagement.
