Hanoi launches international children's drawing competition
The Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched the 2026 international children's drawing competition titled ‘I Love Hanoi - City for Peace’. The event is designed to foster creativity and aesthetic talent among children while promoting a love for Hanoi and a spirit of global peace.
Targeting Vietnamese children and international residents aged 6 to 14 living in Hanoi, the competition serves as a cultural bridge to enhance friendship between local youth and the children of diplomatic families. Participants are encouraged to depict themes such as Hanoi as a creative and civilized city, environmental protection, peaceful living, and international solidarity.
The competition will feature a 120-minute live drawing session. Registration is open until September 25, with the contest expected to take place on October 4 at Ly Tu Trong Flower Garden or another designated location. Winning works are slated for exhibition at the Hanoi Cultural and Library Center.
