Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital launches birth registration support

Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital has become the first hospital in Vietnam to assist families with birth registration services during their hospital stay. On October 10, 2026, the hospital held a ceremony to launch a dedicated support counter for birth registration, marking a significant step in administrative reform and digital transformation.

The initiative aims to provide public services based on a “life cycle” approach, meeting the practical needs of citizens by facilitating the first legal procedures for newborns at the place of birth. The program is part of a broader effort by the Hanoi People's Committee to enhance service quality and promote digital integration in public administration.
