Medical professionals in Vietnam have successfully managed several high-risk maternity cases involving emergency births and premature infants.

In Nghe An province, medical staff from the Muong Xen Commune Health Station and Ky Son Medical Center assisted a woman who went into labor while traveling to a medical facility. The woman gave birth to a 3.2kg baby boy on the roadside. Both mother and child were reported to be in stable condition.

In Hanoi, the Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital has treated multiple critical cases. One instance involved a premature baby born at just 800g at 26 weeks, who successfully gained weight to 2.3kg after intensive neonatal care. Another case involved an IVF patient with severe diabetes and cervical issues, where doctors managed to extend the pregnancy from 21 to 31 weeks through medical intervention. A third case involved a mother suffering from severe hemorrhage, leading to an emergency delivery of an 800g infant at 28 weeks, who required 72 days of intensive treatment to survive.
