Hanoi police indict ring for prostitution and drug trafficking

The Hanoi People's Procuracy has issued indictments against several individuals involved in a criminal network operating through social media and high-end apartments. The case originated from an administrative inspection at the My Lan Hotel on Ba Trieu Street, where police discovered individuals engaged in prostitution.

Investigations revealed that Bui Bach Nghia managed private Telegram groups and used Zalo to connect sex workers with clients, charging between 2 and 3 million VND per successful mediation. Nghia also rented a luxury apartment to house sex workers. During a search of this apartment, authorities discovered illegal drugs.

The indicted individuals include Nguyen Bao Khanh for illegal drug trafficking, Duong Minh Tam for organizing illegal drug use, and Bui Bach Nghia and Luu Van Tien for mediating prostitution.
