Hanoi police prosecute woman for counterfeit food production

Hanoi Police have officially prosecuted Ta Thi Yen for the crime of “producing and trading counterfeit food and foodstuffs.” The investigation follows a raid conducted in May 2026 at a production facility in An Khanh commune, Hanoi.

During the inspection, authorities discovered the facility was producing soup powder using packaging that falsely displayed the “ACECOOK” brand name, along with slogans such as “cook happiness.” Law enforcement seized 125 large crates of finished soup powder (each containing 2,000 packets), 300 additional finished packets, and various tools and raw materials used in the illegal production process.
