Hanoi police seize three firearms and weapons from suspect

Hanoi police have seized three firearms and various weapons following the arrest of a man identified as Dao Dinh Thang. The incident occurred during a patrol by Task Force 141 in the early hours of August 17.

After stopping Thang for suspicious behavior near Xa Dan, officers conducted an investigation that led them to a location in Nam Phu, Hanoi. There, authorities discovered and confiscated one 75cm metal double-barreled gun, one 34cm single-barreled gun, and one 105cm single-barreled gun.

In addition to the firearms, police recovered a metal pair of handcuffs, a 25cm pointed metal knife, and a black object shaped like a handgun. The suspect and the seized items have been handed over to local police for further investigation and legal processing.
