Hanoi proposes 2.5 trillion VND sports complex in My Dinh

The Hanoi People's Committee has submitted a proposal to the City People's Council to invest over 2,523 billion VND in a multi-purpose sports training and competition complex located in the My Dinh high-class athlete area. The project, funded entirely by the city's public investment budget, covers approximately 4.88 hectares.

The complex will feature a four-story multi-purpose arena with two basement levels and a seating capacity of 5,000 to 6,000. This facility is designed to host various sports, including volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, martial arts, fencing, and pickleball. Additionally, an eight-story training building will include an eight-lane swimming pool on the first floor, with upper floors dedicated to disciplines such as dance, wrestling, vovinam, chess, wushu, and karate.

To support athletes, the project includes a 17-story dormitory with two basement levels, capable of accommodating at least 1,500 people. The dormitory will be equipped with medical rooms, a canteen, a kitchen, and meeting rooms. The total investment includes approximately 1,418 billion VND for construction and 390 billion VND for equipment.
