Hanoi ranked among the world's best cities for nightlife

Hanoi has been named one of the top 20 cities with the best nightlife in the world for 2026. The ranking was produced through a collaboration between the British travel magazine Time Out and Intrepid Travel.

The list was compiled by consulting local residents on various aspects of their city's after-hours entertainment, including nightlife quality, cost, safety, hospitality, and diversity. To maintain global representation, only one city per country was included in the final selection.

Hanoi secured the 15th position on the list. The city's nightlife is characterized by a mix of accessible street-side fresh beer (bia hoi) and craft beer, alongside more hidden venues such as speakeasy-style bars and highly-ranked establishments like Workshop14.
