Vietnam reports multiple fires in Hanoi and Dong Nai

Multiple fire incidents were reported across Vietnam on September 27, 2026.

In Hanoi, emergency services responded to a fire in a five-story house in the Thinh Liet area of Hoang Mai District. Firefighters and local residents successfully rescued two people who were trapped by accessing the building through an adjacent house's rooftop. Four other occupants managed to escape via an emergency exit. The fire, which originated on the first floor, was extinguished by approximately 5:40 AM.

Another residential fire occurred in the evening in an alley on Au Co Street, Hanoi. The blaze started in a kitchen on the first floor of a three-story house. While local residents attempted to use mini fire extinguishers, the fire was eventually brought under control by firefighting teams. No casualties were reported in this incident.

In Dong Nai, a large fire broke out at a wood manufacturing facility owned by Hung Dung P Co., Ltd. in Trang Bom. The fire, which covered an area of approximately 2,000 square meters, originated in the paint workshop. Firefighting forces deployed multiple vehicles to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby residential areas. No injuries were reported, and authorities are investigating the cause and property damage.
