Hanoi residents begin land clearance for National Highway 1 expansion

Residents and businesses along Giai Phong Road in Hanoi have begun dismantling structures and relocating assets to facilitate land clearance for the National Highway 1 Space Axis Project.

In the Tuong Mai ward area, specialized equipment and excavators are being used to assist in the demolition of buildings within the project's scope. Some residents reported compensation rates of approximately 372 million VND per square meter. Many local businesses have already closed or are liquidating goods in preparation for the relocation. The project involves a total length of approximately 36.3 km, passing through 18 communes and wards.
