Hanoi to address violations at 12 Muong Thanh projects

Hanoi authorities have outlined a plan to address construction and planning violations across 12 projects within the Muong Thanh Group ecosystem. The review covers various residential areas, including CT6 Kien Hung, Dai Thanh, Xa La, CT5 Tan Trieu, several Linh Dam projects (VP3, VP5, VP6, HH1 through HH4), and Kim Van - Kim Lu (CT11, CT12).

Under the proposed roadmap, the city aims to relocate completed apartments by 2027 and demolish violating structures or buildings by 2028. Officials have not yet finalized a specific list of apartments subject to relocation or demolition.

A comprehensive review process is underway, led by the Department of Construction in coordination with relevant departments and local authorities. This process involves auditing legal documents, planning approvals, construction permits, and inspection conclusions. Additionally, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment will inspect land use, land allocation, and financial obligations to ensure accuracy and objectivity in identifying violations.
