Hanoi to build parking and garden complex on Ring Road 1 land

Hanoi plans to invest approximately 2,900 billion VND to transform a 6,803 m² plot of interstitial land between Ring Road 1 and La Thanh Street into a multi-purpose complex. Located in the Hoang Cau - Lang Ha section, the project will include a parking lot, charging stations, green spaces, flower gardens, and internal roads.

The infrastructure will also feature underground water tanks for fire prevention and solar energy-integrated roofing. The project aims to optimize land use following the Ring Road 1 clearance process, reduce illegal parking on streets and sidewalks, and improve the urban landscape in a high-density residential area.

O Cho Dua Ward is currently managing the land clearance process involving 159 cases. To date, 78 residents have agreed to measurements, and 81 households have completed asset declarations for compensation planning. Local authorities aim to complete land clearance by September 2, with the entire project expected to be finished by 2027.
