Hanoi updates construction procedures and launches digital transformation plan

Hanoi authorities have announced several updates regarding administrative procedures and digital transformation initiatives within the city.

The Hanoi Public Administration Service Center issued Decision No. 1194/QD-TTPVHCC, amending and supplementing administrative procedures in the construction sector under the jurisdiction of the Hanoi Department of Construction. The updated list includes five key procedures: issuing new construction practice certificates (6 working days), reissuing certificates (5 working days), converting certificates (11 working days), and issuing or adjusting construction licenses for foreign contractors (6 working days).

Separately, the Hanoi People's Committee has launched a plan to observe National Digital Transformation Day and Hanoi Digital Transformation Day 2026. The peak activities are scheduled from October 1 to October 10, 2026, with ongoing events throughout the month. The initiative aims to shift focus from awareness to practical action, promoting digital government, the digital economy, and digital society to enhance productivity and governance.
