Hanshin and Giants players perform in Miyazaki Phoenix League

During the Miyazaki Phoenix League match held at SOKKEN Stadium on October 22, Hanshin Tigers player Nozomu Takadera delivered a standout performance against the Yomiuri Giants. Batting second and playing left field, Takadera recorded two hits and three RBIs, including a decisive three-run home run in the third inning off Giants pitcher Takahiro Chiba.

In addition to his offensive contributions, Takadera demonstrated versatility by moving from left field to shortstop in the fifth inning, addressing a key positional need for his team.

Yomiuri Giants infielder Yusei Ishizuka also showed strong form upon rejoining the league. Batting sixth and playing third base, Ishizuka recorded multiple hits, including a double in the fourth inning and an infield single in the fifth. Ishizuka expressed a desire to use this period to improve following a season where he faced challenges with defensive errors.
