Hanshin Tigers and NTT Docomo to host youth baseball clinic in Kyoto

NTT Docomo and the Hanshin Tigers have announced a joint free baseball clinic for elementary school students and their guardians, titled ‘Trial Baseball in Kyoto Supported by NTT Docomo’. Scheduled for November 15, 2026, in Kyoto Prefecture, the event aims to introduce children to the sport through hands-on activities.

Participants will receive instruction from Hanshin Tigers alumni, including Shinjiro Hiyama and Atsushi Kataoka, as well as Baseball Ambassador Takumi Akiyama and academy coaches. The program includes batting practice using soft tee-balls, pitching experiences through catch and strikeout games, and simplified game-format sessions. The event is limited to 60 pairs of first and second-grade students.
