Hanshin Tigers remove pitcher Ryoto Ihara following misconduct reports

Hanshin Tigers pitcher Ryoto Ihara has been removed from the active roster following reports of misconduct during a social gathering in January. According to reports from FRIDAY, Ihara allegedly used verbal abuse and physical aggression, including grabbing a woman's hair, while intoxicated. Hanshin Tigers General Manager Satoshi Shimamura stated that the club decided to remove Ihara from the registration because the reported details were “cannot be overlooked.” While Ihara reportedly admitted to the general circumstances of the incident, no police report has been filed.

Amidst the controversy, Hanshin infielder Yusuke Oyama has drawn significant attention for his recent on-field performance.
