FC Barcelona defeats Getafe 3-0 to maintain perfect La Liga start

FC Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the La Liga season with an 8-0 winning streak, defeating Getafe 3-0 at Spotify Camp Nou. The match saw early dominance from the Catalan side, with Anthony Gordon scoring in the 2nd minute, followed by Gabriel Jesus in the 30th minute. Jules Koundé secured the victory in the 73rd minute after receiving a pass from Lamine Yamal.

Ahead of the match, manager Hansi Flick addressed squad concerns, noting that Raphinha would miss both the Getafe fixture and the upcoming Champions League match against Galatasaray due to injury management. Flick also discussed the goalkeeper situation, indicating that Joan Garcia's recovery from a knee injury would likely see him return to the starting lineup, potentially moving Dominik Livaković to the bench.

Flick expressed satisfaction with the team's performance and the integration of youth players from La Masia, specifically praising the mentality of Gerard Martin. He also commented on the physical toll of the international break and the demanding travel schedules for players.
