Hansung University library receives Ministry of Culture commendation

The Hansung University Academic Information Center has received the 2026 Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation for outstanding contributions to library cooperation and service improvement. It was the only university library among the four organizations selected for the group category this year.

The center was recognized for its active participation in building the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) comprehensive catalog and its consistent operation of national interlibrary loan services, including ‘Chaekbada’ and the ‘Chaeknarae’ book delivery service for the disabled. Additionally, the institution has been noted for its humanities and career experience programs and its efforts in sharing educational cases nationwide.

Beyond traditional services, Hansung University is expanding its innovation through the development of an AI-powered library collection inspection robot, utilizing autonomous driving technology to enhance library management.
