Hanura Party expresses optimism for 2029 elections
The Hanura Party has expressed optimism regarding its performance in the 2029 General Election following an internal consolidation tour. A central task force from the party's central leadership (DPP) has visited 21 of Indonesia's 38 provinces to strengthen organizational structures and assess field conditions.
During a technical meeting and consolidation session with regional and branch leaders in Riau, Patrice Rio Capella, Chairman of the DPP Hanura Task Force, stated that cadres across the visited provinces have shown high militancy and confidence in the party's ability to rise in the upcoming election. To support grassroots structural strengthening, the DPP provided 105 million IDR in assistance.
The party aims to complete its organizational structure across all provinces, with plans to continue consolidation in the remaining 17 provinces. The leadership noted that while Indonesia's geography presents challenges for building structures, they intend to have all sub-district and branch levels finalized by the end of October.
