Hanwha Finance named Premier Partner for Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026

Hanwha Finance, the financial services division of South Korea’s Hanwha Group, has renewed its role as a Premier Partner for Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) 2026. The announcement was made in Seoul during a high-level economic delegation from Abu Dhabi to the Republic of Korea, led by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The fifth edition of ADFW, themed ‘Powered by the Capital Community’, is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi from December 7–10, 2026. This marks the second consecutive year of the partnership between Hanwha Finance and the event, which is hosted by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

The partnership aligns with broader economic expansion between the UAE and the Republic of Korea. The UAE has committed USD 30 billion in investments toward strategic Korean sectors, including semiconductors, nuclear energy, hydrogen, renewable energy, and advanced technologies. Additionally, the UAE-Korea Joint Business Council has established working groups in fields such as AI, biotechnology, and digital content, while plans are underway for a dedicated industrial zone in Abu Dhabi for Korean manufacturing firms.
