Hanwha Life and Severance Hospital launch dementia care training

Hanwha Life has launched a ‘Dementia Care Consultant’ training program for insurance planners affiliated with General Agency (GA) entities, including Hanwha Life Financial Service, Hanwha Life Lab, and Hanwha People Life. This initiative follows a memorandum of understanding signed with Severance Hospital in June to develop dementia care solutions.

The training is conducted via an internal online platform. Severance Hospital, led by Vice President of Research Kim Eo-su, provides medical expertise covering dementia prevention, management, and cognitive function monitoring. Hanwha Life provides financial training focused on the structure of dementia insurance, economic preparedness, and caregiving risk consulting.

The program aims to enhance the professional expertise of planners, allowing them to provide customized caregiving solutions and financial advice to clients. This follows a series of product launches by Hanwha Life this year, including specialized dementia and caregiving insurance products.
