Hanwha Life Esports qualifies for Worlds 2026

Hanwha Life Esports has officially qualified for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship following a 2-1 victory over KT Rolster. As the winner of the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2026, Hanwha Life Esports secured their spot by meeting the requirement of reaching the LCK playoffs.

This victory also ensures that Gen. G will secure one of the six available playoff positions in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) 2026 season. The upcoming playoffs will utilize a double-elimination bracket system to determine final standings and further paths toward international competition.

Despite their qualification, Hanwha Life Esports has faced recent performance challenges, recording two wins and four losses in recent rounds. The team will now focus on the LCK playoffs as they prepare for the World Championship, which is scheduled to take place in the United States from October 15 to November 14.
