Hanyang Cyber University holds graduation ceremony for 1,754 graduates

Hanyang Cyber University held its 2025 late-term graduation ceremony on August 22 at the Hanyang University Baeknam Music Hall. The event celebrated a total of 1,754 graduates, consisting of 1,507 bachelor's degree recipients and 247 master's degree recipients.

During the ceremony, Kim Jong-ryang, Chairman of the Hanyang Academy foundation, encouraged graduates to use the university's founding spirit of ‘Practice of Love’ as a life compass. President Lee Ki-jung emphasized that the greatest achievement for the students was the ability to learn and grow independently.

Notable awards included the ‘Practice of Love Award’ (Chairman's Award) presented to Han Byeong-gi of the Global Management Department, who was recognized for his long-term community service and overcoming personal hardships to pursue education. Additionally, 43 students, including Lee Dae-wook and Choi Won-young, received the President's Award for graduating at the top of their classes.
