Haojue and Honda introduce advanced safety tech to 150cc motorcycle segment
The 150cc motorcycle and scooter markets are seeing a rapid technological shift as manufacturers introduce high-end safety features to mass-market models. In Vietnam, Haojue has registered a design for a new 150cc manual motorcycle. This model, which features a more aggressive and sporty design than the existing DKS150, is expected to be offered in seven different variants ranging from standard to high-end versions. This move follows Sundiro Honda's release of the CBF150RE, which introduced dual disc brakes with two-channel ABS and LED lens headlights to the segment.
In China, the Wuyang-Honda joint venture has unveiled the 2027 NWF150 scooter. Priced between approximately 58.3 million and 70 million VND, the retro-styled scooter includes advanced technologies such as dual-channel ABS, traction control (TCS), and a millimeter-wave radar system for blind-spot detection. Other features include heated handlebars and seats, a high-resolution dashcam, and an eSP+ 150cc engine.
