Haojue VX125 Tiger Shark scooter launches in Vietnam at 29 million VND

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Haojue has released the VX125 Tiger Shark, a 125 cc scooter aimed at congested urban streets. Priced at roughly 29 million Vietnamese đồng (around 7,490 CNY), the model combines a compact 125 cc frame with a unusually wide footboard measuring 285 mm, comparable to larger 150 cc scooters such as the Honda SH.

The VX125 features dual front storage boxes, a deep left compartment that can hold a 1‑liter water bottle, a right‑hand USB charging port, and a fold‑away central hook for delivery riders. Powered by Haojue’s ESS single‑cylinder engine producing 6.6 kW, it can exceed 90 km/h and consumes about 2.18 L of gasoline per 100 km (potentially under 2 L/100 km with gentle riding). With these specifications and a price only slightly above the Suzuki UU125i, the scooter is positioned to challenge dominant Vietnamese models like the Honda Vision and Yamaha Janus.
