Hapag-Lloyd Cruises announces culinary-themed voyages for 2026/2027

Mediterranean cruises remain a popular travel option, offering diverse cultural and landscape experiences across Western, Eastern, and Central Mediterranean routes. Key destinations include major European cities such as Barcelona, Rome, Athens, Istanbul, and Marseille, as well as islands like Mykonos and historical sites like Ephesus.

In the 2026/2027 season, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is introducing 15 specialized culinary journeys aboard the MS Europa and MS Europa 2. These voyages focus on regional flavors and traditions, featuring workshops, tastings, and lectures led by renowned chefs and experts. The program covers a wide range of themes, including Caribbean rum and Creole cuisine, African and Asian flavors, and South American culinary traditions. One specific route features Magda Tedla, founder of Magda’s Food Programme, focusing on Moroccan and Canarian cuisine during a voyage from Morocco to Madeira.
