Hapag-Lloyd Cruises launches ART 2 SEA art voyages on Europa 2 (2027)

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises announced three ART 2 SEA curated art voyages aboard its luxury liner EUROPA 2 for the 2027 season. The program partners with renowned curators and collectors—including Carola Persiehl, Kristian Jarmuschek, Thole Rotermund and art‑collectors Lea and Christian Schwarm—to provide guests with exclusive access to the international art world. A board‑side gallery displays about 890 original works and each voyage features vernissages, artist talks and specially organised shore excursions to galleries, museums, private collections and artist studios across the Indo‑Pacific, such as the Semarang Contemporary Art Gallery in Java, the ARMA Museum & Resort in Bali and an atelier visit with Indonesian artist Faisal Habibi.

Lisa Wilken, Head of Luxury Cruises at Hapag‑Lloyd, said, "Mit ART 2 SEA entwickeln wir die EUROPA 2 konsequent als Plattform für außergewöhnliche kulturelle Begegnungen weiter." The ship accommodates up to 500 guests, offering spacious outer suites, seven gourmet restaurants and a lifestyle focused on cultural immersion.
