Goldene Henne 2026 awards ceremony held in Leipzig

The 32nd Goldene Henne awards ceremony took place at the Leipzig Messe, drawing up to 3.4 million viewers on ARD. Co-hosted by Esther Sedlaczek and Florian Silbereisen, the event honored various figures in music, film, and entertainment.

Helene Fischer received her ninth award, setting a new record in the Millennium Entertainment category. Other major recipients included the Unheilig singer Der Graf, who won the audience award for music, and actor Armin Mueller-Stahl, who was honored with a lifetime achievement award at age 95. Hape Kerkeling also received an award for film and television, using his speech to make a political appeal regarding the upcoming elections in Saxony-Anhalt.

The gala featured performances by Take That, Michael Patrick Kelly, and Helene Fischer. Beyond celebrities, the ceremony recognized everyday heroes, including first responders and volunteers from the Berlin animal shelter.
