Hapoel Be'er Sheva to face AZ Alkmaar in Europa League

AZ Alkmaar and Hapoel Be'er Sheva are set to meet at the AFAS Stadion for the second round of the UEFA Europa League league phase. Both teams are seeking their first victory of the continental campaign after difficult starts.

AZ Alkmaar enters the match following a 1-0 defeat against Sunderland in their opening fixture. Despite a challenging domestic season in the Eredivisie, the Dutch club secured a spot in the Europa League after winning the KNVB Beker.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva arrives following a goalless draw against Dinamo Zagreb. The Israeli side, which won the Israeli Premier League title last season, previously competed in Champions League qualifiers before moving to the Europa League. Due to the security situation in Israel, the club has been playing its European home matches at neutral venues.
