Hapoel Tel Aviv advances to Israeli League Cup semifinals

Hapoel Tel Aviv secured a spot in the semifinals of the Israeli League Cup following an 85:67 victory over Hapoel Beer Sheva. Led by coach Dimitris Itoudis, the team controlled the game from the start, maintaining a steady lead throughout all four quarters.

Taj Odiase led the scoring with 15 points, supported by Kadin Carrington with 14 points, while Eugene German and Guy Palatin contributed 10 points each. Several key players, including Vasilije Micic, Elijah Bryant, Antonio Blakeney, Zeke Lede, and Deni Avdija, did not participate in the match.

Coach Itoudis addressed the status of Tamir Blat, who is recovering from a serious injury. While Blat's condition is improving and he is expected to return to the court in approximately two weeks, his future with the team remains uncertain due to his desire to play abroad during his first contract year.

Hapoel Tel Aviv will next face Red Star Belgrade in Belgrade as part of the EuroLeague schedule, seeking their first European victory after an opening loss to Bayern Munich.
