Hapoel Tel Aviv announces ownership and management restructuring
Hapoel Tel Aviv has announced a significant restructuring of its ownership and management model. Yannay Sport, which maintains its 81% total stake in the club, will undergo a change in its internal shareholding composition.
Ofer Yanay, who previously held a dominant position, will now hold 40% of Yannay Sport. The remaining 60% will be distributed equally among Gili Raanan, Miki Malka, and Alan Howard, each holding 20%. Consequently, Yanay’s indirect ownership in Hapoel Tel Aviv will adjust to 32.4%, while the other three shareholders will each hold 16.2%. The Hapoel Ussishkin Association retains its 19% stake.
Regarding management, Stav Saham has been appointed president to oversee daily operations in coordination with all shareholders, while major strategic decisions will be made collectively. Yanay stated that his responsibilities as CEO of Nofar Energy prevent him from being as involved in the club’s daily management as before. The restructuring aims to create a broader and stronger ownership base, with the increased involvement of Raanan, Malka, and Howard accompanied by commitments for additional investments to ensure financial stability.
