Happy Hill charity receives positive Ofsted report

The SEND charity Happy Hill has received a positive Ofsted report, with inspectors judging the organization to be operating at a ‘strong standard’ across all key areas. Based in Great Notley Country Park, the charity provides support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) aged between three and 19.

Inspectors praised the charity’s behaviour, routines, children’s welfare, inclusion, and leadership. The report noted that children are ‘happy’ and ‘enthusiastic,’ benefiting from a structured and supportive environment. Specific highlights included the charity’s sensory room, soft-play facilities, and highly personalized support. Staff were described as ‘extremely kind and attentive,’ fostering warm and trusting relationships with pupils while maintaining effective safeguarding arrangements.
