Hapvida joins Portuguese Promptly Health data network in Brazil

Brazilian health‑plan operator Hapvida, which serves around 16 million beneficiaries with medical, dental and occupational health services, is now part of Promptly Health’s federated clinical‑data platform. The Portuguese‑based platform, Promptly Evidence Network, already connects hundreds of European health institutions and now includes Hapvida’s extensive network, creating one of the world’s largest interoperable health‑data ecosystems covering more than 70 million lives.

Promptly Health’s technology allows hospitals to share insights without moving sensitive patient records, keeping data under the control of each institution while enabling secure research and evidence generation. “We are proud to welcome Hapvida to the Promptly Evidence Network,” said Pedro Ramos, CEO of Promptly Health. Hapvida continues to provide customer support via its 0800 phone line and ombudsman, noting that it does not currently offer WhatsApp service.
