Har-ı Bülbül motif used in Iğdır handicrafts

Artisans and trainees at the Iğdır Public Education Center in Turkey are incorporating the Har-ı Bülbül motif into various handmade products. The motif is inspired by an endemic wild orchid found in the mountainous regions of Karabakh, Azerbaijan.

The project, supported by Didem Taşolar, includes the creation of items such as dolls, bags, brooches, necklaces, lavender sachets, scarves, and kitchen accessories. Musa Ölmez, Director of the Public Education Center, noted that the initiative aims to preserve cultural heritage. He explained that the Har-ı Bülbül flower has come to symbolize devotion, patriotism, and heroism following the Second Karabakh War.
