Haraz Road Night Traffic Restrictions in Mazandaran Province Continue Until Aug 20

The Mazandaran provincial road police announced that night traffic on the Haraz road will remain restricted until 20 August. The restrictions are intended to allow installation of lighting systems in tunnels 2, 4, 5 and the Sepehsad tunnel.

Vehicles are prohibited from using the road on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 21:00 to 05:00 the following morning. On Saturdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays normal traffic continues. Drivers are urged to check the latest road conditions before traveling and to plan alternative routes to avoid delays. The Haraz corridor is a major north‑south artery linking Tehran with Mazandaran and adjacent provinces, handling over 500 million vehicle trips annually.
