Harbhajan Singh advises aggressive tactics to stop Vaibhav Sooryavanshi

Former Indian spin bowler Harbhajan Singh has described 15-year-old cricket sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi as an extraordinary and unique player. Singh suggested that the only way for bowlers to successfully contend with the teenager is to adopt an aggressive approach, stating, “The only way to survive is to attack him. You go at him and you take his wicket.”

Sooryavanshi has achieved several historic milestones at a remarkably young age. He became the youngest player in IPL history with his debut for the Rajasthan Royals at 14, and subsequently became the youngest batter to score a century in men’s T20 cricket. He also holds the record as the youngest player to make an international debut for India, appearing against England at the age of 15 years and 99 days.

His recent performances include scoring 175 runs off 80 balls in the Under-19 World Cup final, which stands as the highest individual score in the history of the tournament’s finals. Singh noted that Sooryavanshi shows no fear against world-class bowlers, having famously hit premier pacers such as Jasprit Bumrah and Pat Cummins for sixes on their opening deliveries.
