Harbiye Open-Air Venue Launches Summer Theater and Concert Series in Istanbul

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s City Theaters are staging two productions at the Harbiye Open‑Air venue this August. Musahipzade Celal’s play “Haramiler,” adapted and directed by Engin Alkan, will open on 25 August at 21:00. The comedy “Yoldan Çıkan Oyun,” written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, translated by Mehmet Ergen and directed by Lerzan Pamir, follows on 27‑28 August at the same time slot.

In parallel, the Çizgim Event company is organizing an extensive open‑air concert tour across Turkey’s coastal towns and Harbiye. The lineup includes major Turkish artists such as Gülşen, Hadise, Yıldız Tilbe, Linet, Derya Bedavacı, Selda Bağcan and Bülent Ersoy, with performances scheduled throughout August in locations like Çeşme, Marmaris, Datça, Kuşadası, Altınoluk and Harbiye. The series will conclude with Deha Bilimlier’s concert on 25 October at Harbiye.
